Our Open Networking-themed conference went off without a hitch last week in the Frankfurt Marriott Hotel. Attendees visited from all around Germany, United Kingdom, Ireland, Switzerland, Austria, Russia and Belgium, and speakers flew in from Taiwan, California, Cambridge and London to share the latest trends from the world of software-defined data centers (SDDC), Open Compute and open networking.

A special thanks to FinisarEdgecore NetworksCumulus Networks, the OCP Foundation, e-shelter, Penguin Computing and Solarflare for their insightful talks and for sharing product demos in the Exhibitor Zone.

It wouldn't have been an EPS event if we didn't make reference to our Irish roots, and this time was no different, with Walsh Whiskey Distillery providing Writer's Tears Cask Strength premium Irish whiskey as competition prizes and as welcome drinks at the post-conference networking reception.
