This week saw the launch of the Raspberry Pi 400, a complete personal computer built into a compact keyboard, built with user friendliness, power, performance and value in mind.
Raspberry Pi's mission is to put affordable, high-performance, programmable computers into the hands of people all over the world. From humble beginnings, it has become the best-selling UK computer company, with over 30 million Raspberry Pi boards sold in its 8 year success story, with a recent bump in sales since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, where they have seen a rapid increase in the use of Raspberry Pi 4 for home working and studying.
The revolutionary product was four years in the making, according to Simon Martin, Senior Principal Engineer at Raspberry Pi. EPS Global supported and collaborated with Raspberry Pi on its design, engineering and development, designing-in semiconductor components.
In his article discussing the technical challenges Simon thanked Dave Lenton from EPS Global’s European Semiconductor Team for his help with this project.
“We are proud to have been part of this exciting journey to get the Raspberry Pi 400 to market”, commented David Lenton, EPS Global, “EPS Global are a long-standing partner of Raspberry Pi and we wish them all the best with the Raspberry Pi 400, the timing is perfect in time for Christmas”.
The Raspberry Pi 400 is now available here.
