IST AG was found in 1991 developing and producing nickel-based temperature sensors. IST AG employs their specialised and substantial know-how to provide services as a Development Partner, where they allow to customer to create their own sensor, that is specifically designed to meet the specifications and requirements of the customer’s applications. The customization permits the customer to choose the wire materials, lengths, type of connectors, chip design, resistances values, tolerances rates and at the end it possible to do a customer-specific calibration. The Development partnership permits the customer to have a high-performance sensor that is extensively tested in IST AG research and testing centres, and its guarantees the highest results in when implemented in the final application.

The highest quality is ensured since the R&D stage and in the fully automated production process. Most of the engineers at IST AG have Six Sigma Green Belt level and thus make a significant contribution to the systematic improvement of processes and technologies. The high quality of IST AG sensing devices makes it ideal for hard requirement applications in the aerospace, automotive and consumer goods industry.
