Dublin, March 7th 2023: Pulsiv, a leading provider of DC to AC conversion technology designed to maximize the energy output of solar panels, has today signed a strategic distribution with EPS Global, to expand their distribution network into the Chinese manufacturing market.
Remarking on the agreement, Colin Lynch, CEO of EPS Global commented: “I am delighted to sign a contract with Pulsiv in China, potentially their largest market globally. The Pulsiv technology will be compelling for many of the largest power supply manufacturers in the world. The combination of our need as a society to consume less power and the steep increases in the cost of the power available to us mean that Pulsiv’s product is a technology whose timing to the market could not be better. I am very excited about the opportunity distributing Pulsiv represents for EPS Global.”
The new partnership will see EPS Global and Pulsiv work together to engage with a variety of manufacturers throughout China.
“This new strategic agreement is an important step in the expansion of our distribution network”, said Nick Theodoris, Director of Global Sales & Distribution. “China represents extremely large potential for the Pulsiv technology because consumer manufacturers can benefit from our unique and flat efficiency profile to reduce energy consumption. Having local technical experts who are connected to large OEM’s is an important factor in approaching such a large market and I’m excited to start working with EPS Global.”
About Pulsiv
Founded in 2013 as a spin out from the University of Plymouth (UK), Pulsiv was primarily focused on developing techniques for extracting more energy from solar panels. Pulsiv designed and patented an improved system for efficiently converting DC to AC with results that outperformed market leading solutions. By 2017, they had discovered that our patented methods could also be applied in AC to DC power electronics used in mains powered and battery charging applications. This made it possible to achieve an unrivalled efficiency profile, extend the range of conventional flyback designs and offer a host of additional features and benefits.
Pulsiv are constantly evolving our technology roadmap to deliver solutions that enable engineers to develop the next generation of module-level power electronics for the solar market and power electronics designs for mains powered applications. Pulsiv is committed to helping the world move towards 100% renewable energy and reducing the impact that electronic devices have on the environment.
