The Edgecore DCS560 is a versatile, high-capacity switch designed for data center spine applications, AI/ML clusters, and high-performance computing, featuring options for up to 320 logical ports and advanced capabilities for reduced latency and enhanced network management. It supports scalable 400G leaf connectivity, standards-based networking for AI/ML with RoCEv2, and efficient virtualization with VxLAN, catering to the needs of modern data centers.

Constructed around Coherent's Steelerton DSP, the 100G ZR QSFP28-DCO transceiver fully adheres to the IEEE 802.3-2022 100GBASE-ZR standard, ensuring compatibility with other systems. The Steelerton DSP is the inaugural purpose-designed DSP for 100G ZR applications, fine-tuned for minimal power dissipation and compact size. Within the QSFP28 module, the DSP is coupled with an ultra-efficient silicon photonics optical front-end and a power-optimized tunable laser, leading to a typical module power dissipation of under 5W.
