He’s also the CEO of Edgecore Networks, an organization who contributes more designs to the OCP and TIP communities than any other. “We have worked so hard for years to make sure our brand name becomes synonymous with Open Networking and disaggregated networking” – George discusses how Edgecore have taken their core competency of hardware (Accton group which is Edgecore’s parent company is the ODM to Tier 1 OEMs), added the software enablement on top and complemented it by partnering with EPS Global who bring the aggregation, distribution and supply chain capabilities to ensure successful delivery of the solution to the end user. We have parts in stock, ready to ship today. The Edgecore Wedge100S-32X is a commercial product based on Facebook's Wedge100S design. Facebook designed the Wedge100S as a 32 x 100 GbE top-of-rack switch optimized for web-scale data centers, and submitted the design to the Open Compute Project.

The Edgecore Wedge100BF-65X switch is a Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch for high-performance data centers, designed with programmable Tofino switch silicon from Barefoot Networks. In a 2RU form factor, the switch provides line-rate L2 and L3 switching across the 65 x QSFP28 ports, supporting up to 65 x 25/40/50/100 GbE connections.
