By integrating a CSFP transceiver that features two bidirectional fiber ports into a CSFP port, Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs) can double the number of subscribers per port. This reduces the space and temperature control costs associated with deploying two 24-port switches or larger 48-port switches.
