The Edgecore ECS4100-12PH is an enterprise switch featuring 8 PoE Gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 combo ports, and 2 FE/1G uplink SFP ports. This switch is perfectly suited for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs), enabling them to offer home users triple-play services and bandwidth up to a Gigabit.

The PoE functionality of the ECS4100-12PH switch allows for connection to WiFi Access Points (APs) for hotspot services, or to IP surveillance devices. This makes it an excellent Gigabit access switch for Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs), enterprises, and campus networks, facilitating connections to IP phones, WiFi APs, and IP surveillance cameras.

Loaded with features, the ECS4100-12PH switch ensures high availability, robust security, strong multicast control, and advanced Quality of Service (QoS) at the network edge, all while maintaining ease of management. The switch also boasts advanced IPv6 Management, IPv6 security, and IPv6 multicast control, keeping pace with the increasing deployment of IPv6.

ISPs can broaden their home and business user services by providing a more reliable and resilient network (ITU-T G.8032 ERPS), Layer 2 (L2) VPNs, and advanced Operations, Administration, and Maintenance (OAM) functions to uphold service-level agreements. The ECS4100-12PH is the first Edgecore PoE switch to support up to 60 W Ultra PoE IEEE 802.3bt.
