The PCT1812FF is a mutual-type touch button controller created by Pixart, housed in a QFN20 4mmx4mm package. It supports up to 36 touch buttons and slide bars, with low power consumption (touch wake-up <20µA; operation mode <200µA). The controller offers high sensitivity, supporting glove touch for surfaces up to <6mm acrylic or <10mm glass. It is water and oil immune and requires only 2 external capacitors for easy BOM management. Suitable for laptop trackpads, it features 36 channels, 5 touch points, and interfaces including I2C, HID-I2C, and PS2.
