Product Detail
The PAT9300E1-QDBB comprises an optical tracking chip and an illumination source (laser, 840-860 nm wavelength) in a single LGA package. It enhances the high speed and accuracy features to support a wide working range on various surface types. The ADNS-6190-002 matching lens is designed to match the PAT9300E1-QDBB chip for optimum performance. These parts provide a complete and compact optical tracking system. The laser calibration process is NOT required, thus facilitating high volume assembly. The sensor is paired with the ADNS‑6190‑002 lens.
This sensor delivers exceptional performance with tracking speeds up to 5m/s, acceleration of 50g, and highly accurate 16-bit motion data registers featuring ≤1% resolution variation. It operates efficiently with a self-adjusting frame rate, drawing just 6.8mA at speeds below 1m/s and 16.5mA at higher speeds. The device also boasts independent X and Y axis resolution settings, an internal oscillator, and a dedicated motion detection output pin. Furthermore, it ensures user safety with Class 1 IEC/EN 60825-1 compliance and on-chip laser fault detection.
Thanks to its versatile working distance—ranging from 1.5 to 4.5mm on glossy or diffuse surfaces and up to 4.0mm on fabrics—this system is ideal for diverse applications requiring high-speed motion detection. It is perfectly suited for integration into sewing, embroidery, and quilting machines where precision is paramount. Additionally, the sensor provides reliable tracking for handheld scanners, portable printers, media or multi-function printers, and automated paper handling equipment such as check deposit machines.
