Microsemi's Flashtec™ family of NVMe compliant PCIe enterprise flash controllers dramatically boost the number of random I/O operations per second (IOPS)that a system can process, while concurrently reducing latency and power.The NVMe1016 is a member of Microsemi's Flashtec™ family of NVMe enterprise controllers. The NVMe1016 is a single chip 32-channel NAND Flash controller with PCIe Gen3 x8 or dual independent PCIe Gen3 x4 (active/active or active/standby) host interface. The NVMe1016 is optimized for high performance 4KB random read/write operations and performs all Flash management operations on-chip, thus consuming negligible host processing and host RAM resources and supporting standard NVM Express host control interface.
