16-channel 100Gbps DWDM Mux/Demux with Extension and Monitor ports

The H-MD-16-xxx-yyy filters are 16-channel DWDM protocol transparent Mux/Demux devices that function passively. They work with a 100GHz spacing and feature an extra DWDM Extension port, allowing for the effortless addition of more channels to boost capacity. The bandwidth of the channel can accommodate signals up to and inclusive of coherent QPSK modulated 100Gbps.

These channels function within the standard C-band in a dual fiber working setup. The monitor ports extract approximately 1% of the transmitted and received line signal. This feature offers the capability to oversee the power levels of the channel through a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.

There are two products that can be merged in any sequence through the Extension port. These are the H-MD-16-921-936 and the H-MD-16-937-952.
