8-channel 100Gbps DWDM Mux/Demux with Extension and Monitor ports

The H-MD-09-xxx-yyy filters represent a series of 8-channel DWDM protocol transparent Mux/Demux units that are passively operated. They function with a 100GHz spacing and come equipped with an extra DWDM Extension port, enabling the effortless addition of more channels to expand capacity. The channels function within the standard C-band in a dual fiber working setup.

The channel passband is capable of supporting signal rates up to and inclusive of coherent QPSK modulated 100Gbps signals. The H-MD-09-xxx-yyy model includes two Monitor ports that extract 1% of the transmitted and received line signal. This feature allows for the monitoring of the channel power levels through a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.

There are five distinct products that can be interconnected in any sequence through the Extension port. These include the H-MD-09-921-928, H-MD-09-929-936, H-MD-09-937-944, H-MD-09-945-952, and H-MD-09-953-960.
