The Edgecore DCS201 data center switch is designed to meet the high-performance, reliability, and scalability needs of both enterprise and cloud data centers. It offers full line-rate switching at Layer 2 or Layer 3 across 48 x 10GbE ports and 6 x 100GbE uplinks.

This switch can be utilized as a Top-of-Rack switch or as part of a 40GbE or 100GbE distributed spine, creating a non-blocking folded-Clos data center fabric. It is also rack-mountable in a standard 19-inch rack.

The DCS201 hardware comes with high availability features necessary for data center operations. These include redundant, hot-swappable AC or -48 VDC power supply units (PSUs), 4+1 redundant fan modules, and options for port-to-power or power-to-port airflow.

With support for VXLAN and NVGRE tunneling functions in hardware, the DCS201 is an excellent Top-of-Rack switch choice for virtualized data centers.
