The AS5812-EC series is comprised of two switches, each with a 48-port 10GbE SFP+ or 10GBASE-T and a 6-port 40GbE uplink. These switches are specifically designed for Carrier/Enterprise Aggregation and Data Center Top of Rack applications.

The AS5812-EC series serves as the perfect solution for traditional three-tier Aggregation or Core and folded CLOS architectures, providing a 2:1 oversubscription. The AS5812-54X-EC/54T-EC switch, in particular, is loaded with features that ensure high availability, comprehensive security, robust multicast control, and advanced QoS to network aggregation, all while maintaining simple management.

Furthermore, the switch supports the most advanced IPv6 Management, IPv6 security, and IPv6 multicast control, keeping pace with the growth of IPv6 deployment.
