The Edgecore ECS4100-26TX-ME switch is a Gigabit Ethernet access switch that comes with two 10G uplink ports. This switch is particularly suitable for Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and Multiple System Operators (MSOs), as it allows them to offer home users triple-play services with up to Gigabit bandwidth. Furthermore, it serves as an excellent Gigabit access switch for SMB, enterprise, and campus networks.

Packed with features, the ECS4100-26TX-ME switch ensures high availability, comprehensive security, robust multicast control, and advanced QoS at the network edge, all while maintaining simple management. In addition, it supports the most advanced IPv6 Management, IPv6 security, and IPv6 multicast control, keeping pace with the growth of IPv6 deployment.

ISPs can leverage this switch to extend their services from home to business users. This is made possible by providing a more reliable and resilient network (ITU-T G.8032 ERPS), L2 VPNs, and advanced OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) functions, which help to uphold service-level agreements.

The ECS4100-26TX-ME switch also offers 6KV surge protection on Ethernet ports. This feature is crucial in preventing damage to the network caused by power surges and lightning strikes.
