Packet visibility begins with the network TAP (test access point). This hardware device enables the user to access and monitor their network traffic by duplicating packets without compromising or impacting the integrity of the network.
Garland's BiDi Passive Fiber Network TAPs offer full duplex packet visibility using Cisco BiDirectional Optical Technology. This ensures that every bit, byte, and packet is visible to the user's tools.
These TAPs come in high density portable and 1U form factors. As non-powered devices, they will not cause live network devices to lose their link to each other if power is lost. The design of multi-mode TAPs is specifically for short-range connectivity.
Garland Technology ensures complete network visibility by delivering a full platform of network access products to include: Passive Fiber TAPs, Copper TAPs, Aggregator and Regeneration TAPs, Filtering TAPs, Bypass TAP, as well, Network Packet Broker devices.
