Receptacle Isolators are generally used in various TOSAs that require isolation to prevent feedback into lasers. The Free Space Isolators are used in various TOSAs, which require isolation to prevent feedback into the laser. This product is available in single and double stage designs. Pigtail Isolators are generally used in various lasers that require isolation to prevent feedback into lasers. Finisar’s Pigtail Isolators offer excellent performance with low insertion loss and high isolation. Finisar’s proprietary bonding process, combined with years of volume manufacturing experience, results in a high reliability record. Bare isolator chips survive more than 5,000 hours of damp heat testing without delamination.

Interleavers leverage a patented design to achieve high even/odd channel isolation, on 25, 50 or 100 GHz channel spacing, while maintaining low insertion loss and low chromatic dispersion. Several interleaver configurations are available including 50 to 25 GHz, 100 to 50 GHz and 200 to 50 GHz channel spacing.

Hybrid components are integrated multi-function devices that reduce cost and save space. II-VI offers various types of hybrid components including WDM+ Isolator, GFF+ Isolator, Tap+ Isolator, Tap + Isolator + GFF, Tap + PD. Other custom hybrid components are also available upon request.

Optical circulators route an optical signal from an input port to an output port in a non-reciprocal manner. For example, in a 3-port circulator a signal entering Port 1 will exit Port 2, a signal entering Port 2 will exit Port 3 and a signal entering Port 3 will exit Port 1. Circulators are available in 3- or 4-port configurations.

Polarization maintaining couplers are now available from II-VI in a small micro-optics packaging format in addition to the cylindrical format. The small micro-optics package is ideal for integration in small form-factor pluggable transceivers such as the CFP, CFP2 and CFP4 line side transceivers.

Band-pass and edge thin-film filters are housed in 3-port packages. They are designed for tri-band WDM, CWDM and DWDM on 50, 100 or 200 GHz channel spacing. They are also available to multiplex 980 nm or 14xx nm pump laser wavelengths with a DWDM signal within optical amplifiers. The thin-film filters achieve high center frequency stability over the entire operating temperature range.
