The Apposite 10G1 Network WAN Emulator is the perfect solution for testing and simulating network performance. This device features two SFP+ ports and two RJ45 ports, both of which support 1Gbps/10Gbps speeds. It has an impressive maximum aggregate throughput of 20 Gbps, and can emulate up to 10 Gbps. It can also classify packets based on IP source and destination address range (IPv4 or IPv6), VLAN, TCP or UDP port number, IP ToS, MAC address, MPLS label, or any other packet contents. Bandwidth can be adjusted from 100 bps to 100 Gbps in 1 bps increments, and delay can be set from 0 ms to 10,000 ms or greater in each direction in 0.01 ms increments. Loss and corruption can be simulated using random, burst, periodic, BER, Gilbert-Elliott, or recorded loss, and data corruption. The Apposite 10G1 also supports background utilization of up to 100%, and PCAP replay. It also offers RED or tail drop queue management, priority or round robin queuing. With all these features, the Apposite 10G1 is the perfect network WAN emulator for testing and simulating network performance.

  • Feature 6 Loss & Corruption: Set random, burst, or periodic packet loss. Test the effects of corruption on voice and video applications.
  • Feature 7 Capture & Replay: Record the delay and loss characteristics of a production network as they vary second-by-second and replay them through the Netropy network emulator.
  • Feature 8 Traffic Monitor: View and download up to 24 hours of throughput graphs and link statistics.
  • Feature 9 Automated Testing: Automate application performance testing with Apposite's comprehensive command line interface (CLI).
