The Apposite N91 Network WAN Emulator is the perfect solution for testing the performance of your network applications. It offers 8x SFP+ 1Gbps or 8x RJ45 1Gbps or 4x SFP+ & 4x RJ45 1Gbps Ethernet ports, and can reach a maximum aggregate throughput of 8 Gbps. It also has 4 emulation engines and a maximum packet rate of 12 million pps, with a maximum frame size of 9 KB. Packet classification is possible with IP source & destination address range (IPv4 or IPv6), VLAN, TCP or UDP port number, IP ToS, MAC address, MPLS label, or any other packet contents. Bandwidth can range from 100 bps to 100 Gbps in 1 bps increments, and delay can range from 0 ms to 10,000 ms or greater in each direction in 0.01 ms increments, with constant, uniform, and normal distributions. Loss and corruption can be random, burst, periodic, BER, Gilbert-Elliott, or recorded loss, with data corruption and network outages. Background utilization can range from 0 to 100% in increments of 0.1%, with PCAP replay, and RED or tail drop queue management with priority or round robin queuing.   • Feature 6 Loss & Corruption: Set random, burst, or periodic packet loss. Test the effects of corruption on voice and video applications.
  • Feature 7 Capture & Replay: Record the delay and loss characteristics of a production network as they vary second-by-second and replay them through the Netropy network emulator.
  • Feature 8 Traffic Monitor: View and download up to 24 hours of throughput graphs and link statistics.
  • Feature 9 Automated Testing: Automate application performance testing with Apposite's comprehensive command line interface (CLI).
