The MP9472 is a monolithic, non-synchronous, buck regulator that integrates a 175mO high-side MOSFET to achieve 0.45A of continuous load current over a wide 4.75V to 18V input voltage range. Current mode control provides fast transient response and cycle-by-cycle current limit. An adjustable soft-start prevents inrush current at start-up. The supply current drops to 1? in shutdown mode. The MP9472 requires minimal external components and is available in an 8-pin TSOT23-8 package.
