The PMJ9100S1 is a high performance Media Tracking Chip using low power CMOS technology designed specifically to track media print in printer applications. This sensor offers high repeated accuracy with error rate of +/- 15um over 1-inch of media movement with speed up to 15 inches per second. It integrates an IR light source and optical chip with built-in picture element recognition engine and DSP that provides the host system real-time feedback on the surface movement.
