The H-OADM2x4-xxx-yyy-4C is a two-way 4ch DWDM add/drop filter, designed to support 400G 16QAM signals due to its wide channel bandwidth. This filter is a member of the 400G supporting filter family, as indicated by the "-4C" suffix in its part number. The filter features four add/drop ports and one Line in the "West" direction, with an identical setup in the "East" direction. Channels that fall outside the add/drop channel bands are passed through the filter.

The Extension port of the H-OADM2x4-xxx-yyy-4C is remarkably broad, spanning from 1264 -1630nm. This wide range allows for a multitude of LANWDM, CWDM, DWDM, and OTDR solutions to be used over the same infrastructure. The bandwidth can even reach up to 1670, albeit with a slightly increased loss. The monitor ports (Mon) siphon off 1% of the transmitted and received Line signal, enabling the monitoring of channel power levels via an Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.

The DWDM channels of the H-OADM2x4-xxx-yyy-4C are in compliance with ITU-T G.694.1. The product line includes ten different filters that cover the channel band 921 to 960. These include H-OADM2x4-921-924-4C, H-OADM2x4-925-928-4C, H-OADM2x4-929-932-4C, H-OADM2x4-933-936-4C, H-OADM2x4-937-940-4C, H-OADM2x4-941-944-4C, H-OADM2x4-945-948-4C, H-OADM2x4-949-952-4C, H-OADM2x4-953-956-4C, and H-OADM2x4-957-960-4C.
