The H-OADM1x4-xxx-yyy is a 4-channel DWDM add/drop filter with a one-sided design. This filter is equipped with four add/drop ports, a Line port, and an Extension port. The Line port is always directed inwards for the connection. Channels that fall outside the add/drop channel bands are passed through the filter.

Networks can be constructed using only H-OADM1x4-xxx-yyy filters, or in conjunction with other filters such as H-MD-09-xxx-yyy or H-MD-16-xxx-yyy Mux/Demux filters, offering a broad range of combination possibilities. The monitor ports (Mon) extract 1% of the transmitted and received Line signal, allowing for the monitoring of channel power levels through a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.

The DWDM channels of this filter are in compliance with ITU-T G.694.1. There are ten distinct filters available, covering the channel band from 921 to 960. These include H-OADM1x4-921-924, H-OADM1x4-925-928, H-OADM1x4-929-932, H-OADM1x4-933-936, H-OADM1x4-937-940, H-OADM1x4-941-944, H-OADM1x4-945-948, H-OADM1x4-949-952, H-OADM1x4-953-956, and H-OADM1x4-957-960.
