The Edgecore AS7312-54XS switch, designed for high-performance data centers, functions as a Top-of-Rack (TOR) or spine switch. This compact 1RU form factor switch delivers line-rate L2 and L3 switching across 48 x 25GbE SFP28 and 6 x 100GbE QSFP28, supporting up to 48 x 10/25 GbE and 6 x 40/100 GbE connections.

The AS7312-54XS can be utilized as a TOR switch, supporting 10/25 GbE to servers with 40/100 GbE uplinks. Alternatively, it can function as a spine switch, supporting 40/100 GbE spine interconnects. This versatile open network switch comes equipped with the Open Network Install Environment (ONIE).

ONIE enables the installation of compatible Network Operating System software. This includes open source options such as Open Network Linux and OpenSwitch, as well as commercial NOS offerings. This makes the Edgecore AS7312-54XS switch a flexible and powerful addition to any data center.
