The ion12xi_h features a 6dBi integrated omnidirectional antenna, optimized for maximum coverage and range, and access to a 160 MHz channel in the 5GHz Band. It supports 1024 QAM and is equipped with non-Wi-Fi interference detection and avoidance, ATPC, and coverage hole detection and correction.

This AP can be configured as a 4x4 MU-MIMO in 160 MHz channel bandwidth or 8x8 MU-MIMO in the 80 MHz Channel Bandwidth, in the 5GHz Band without compromising on the peak data rates. It also features a dual-band radio offering a peak data rate up to 5.95 Gbps and a configurable 5 GHz radio.
