The ion8xe_T provides deployment flexibility with multiple variants, including the option for external antennas using N-connectors on the side or top. It also supports access to a 160 MHz channel in the 5GHz Band, enhanced security features such as WPA3 security support, and 1024 QAM.

This outdoor AP is equipped with advanced features like non-Wi-Fi interference detection and avoidance, ATPC, and coverage hole detection and correction. It also supports coordinated bi-directional multi-user-multi input multi output (MU-MIMO), multi-link operation (MLO), preamble puncturing, and multiple resource unit (Multi-RU) operation.
