Edgecore will unveil their OMP 800/1600 at Datacenter Transformation 2016 in Frankfurt this Thursday. This newly developed platform supports up to 512 x 100G QSFP28 interfaces, or a multiple by various breakout cables, making it the highest capacity open network platform in the industry.
Edgecore Networks is a member of the Open Compute Project Foundation (OCP) and has contributed their design of the industry’s highest bandwidth modular switch platform to the OCP.
Edgecore has also worked with Facebook to design the 'Wedge', a 16x40GbE Top-of-Rack switch optimized for web-scale data centers, a design which was also submitted to the Open Compute Project.
George Tchaparian, CEO of Edgecore, is speaking at the show, and will personally introduce attendees to Edgecore's new switching platform during his session. Attendees can also see it in the flesh in the Exhibitor Zone.
Don't miss the opportunity to be part of this industry debut, there’s still a few seats available for this unique conference. You can register here.
