The H-MD-09-xxx-yyy-4C filters represent a series of 8-channel DWDM protocol transparent Mux/Demux units with low-loss characteristics. These units are designed with broad channel passbands that can support all protocols, including those up to 400Gbps 16QAM wavelengths. They function with a 100GHz spacing and feature a low-loss Extension port, enabling the addition of extra channels to enhance capacity seamlessly.

The Extension port is notably broad, spanning from 1264 -1630nm, which allows for a multitude of LANWDM, CWDM, DWDM, and OTDR solution combinations over the same infrastructure. The bandwidth can even reach up to 1670, albeit with a slightly increased loss.

Equipped with two Monitor ports, the H-MD-09-xxx-yyy-4C filters can tap off 1% of the transmitted and received line signal. This feature offers the capability to monitor the channel power levels via a connected Optical Channel Monitoring (OCM) device or an optical spectrum analyzer.

There are five products in this range that can be combined in any sequence through the Extension port. These include the H-MD-09-921-928-4C, H-MD-09-929-936-4C, H-MD-09-937-944-4C, H-MD-09-945-952-4C, and the H-MD-09-953-960-4C.
