The FTCD3312M1BCL / FTCD3312O1BCL CFP2 Digital Coherent Optics (DCO) transceiver is designed to support multi-rate coherent transmission for data center interconnect, metro, and long-haul transport applications. The module is capable of accommodating a range of signal types on the host side, including 100GE, 200GE, 400GE, OTU4, and OTUCn (FlexO). On the line side, the module is compatible with 100G, 200G, 300G, and 400G interfaces, supporting various modulation formats and forward error correction (FEC) codes. It also allows for multiple 100G clients to be multiplexed onto a single 200G, 300G, or 400G line side interface. The transceiver module adheres to the CFP MSA CFP2 Hardware Specification and includes extensions as outlined in the OIF CFP2-DCO implementation agreement.
