The FTLX2672D327/FTLX2672D333 10Gb/s Enhanced Small Form Factor Pluggable (SFP+) transceivers are engineered for application in 10-Gigabit Ethernet links, capable of reaching up to 30km over a single-strand Single Mode fiber. This feature effectively doubles the capacity of existing legacy single mode fiber links. These transceivers adhere to SFF-8431 and IEEE 802.3ae 10GBASE-LR/LW standards, as well as the 10G Fibre Channel 1200-SM-LL-L. They also offer digital diagnostics functions through a 2-wire serial interface, in line with SFF-8472 specifications. The FTLX2672D327/FTLX2672D333 is a "limiting module", meaning it utilizes a limiting receiver. For optimal interoperability between the host-board EDC PHY and a limiting receiver SFP+ module, host board designers using an EDC PHY IC are advised to adhere to the IC manufacturer's suggested settings.
