At EPS Global, we understand the importance of Environment, Social and Governance strategies and are committed to taking the necessary steps towards developing a more sustainable future both for our business and the planet. To this end, we engaged with Blue Planet Consulting, an ESG advisory firm that provided a powerful framework and clear set of actions to drive our progress towards a more sustainable future.

Together we have carefully considered and devised an ESG strategy and implementation plan with a phased approach. This plan initially focused on our Irish operations, which included our corporate headquarters in Dublin. Here we developed and road-tested the strategy to create a blueprint that could be expanded to include sustainable ESG practices at our other global locations. These global locations stretch from Manaus in the Amazon, to Timisoara in Romania, all the way to Suzhou in the Far-East.

As part of our current phase of our Environmental and Sustainability Program, we have focused on energy management systems, and waste management at our sites. This involved undertaking site audits at our facilities. The audit conducted at our facility in Timisoara found that the entire energy needs at the site could be met with the installation of solar panels.

Earlier this year our team in Timisoara oversaw the installation of 142 solar panels at our programming center. These panels generate up to 80MW of energy each year which covers the energy needs of the programming center.

This is an exciting step for EPS Global in our on-going efforts to create a sustainable future. We look forward to undertaking similar projects in our 28 global locations.
